It’s the longest-running UK number one of the digital age – but One Dance still doesn’t have a video.

But if the snaps from Drake, Kyla, Popcaan and Apple Music posted to Instagram and Twitter over the last week or so are anything to go by, the video, seemingly shot in South Africa, will be with us soon.

Okay Africa reports the Anthony Mandler directed video could be with us soon, based on this evidence.

Drake posts a picture of Material Culture, a South African dance crew, in Soweto.

Fans start posting pictures with Drizzy, claiming to be on the set of One Dance.

Kyla, whose song Do You Mind was sampled for One Dance, posts a picture of herself sitting on a South African Airways plane.

Popcaan, who Drake arguably owes after dropping his verse on Controlla from Views, is pictured with Drizzy in SA.

And perhaps most tellingly Larry Jackson, Apple Music’s head of original content, is also in Soweto. Apple Music had the Hotline Bling video exclusively when it was first released, as well as Drake’s latest album.

Larry’s caption on the picture is powerful, recognising the history of Soweto and thanking the people of the area for “restoring my spirit, faith and inspiration”.

He also said he’s pleased he “chose to come to this amazing township to film what easily is the most powerful piece of visual art that I have ever captured”.

It all points to one thing, so keep your eyes peeled and start getting excited. In the meantime, here’s Drake giving thanks.
