Audley Harrison has been reprimanded for his use of potentially "offensive language" when speaking about Kellie Maloney during "brutal" face-to-face nominations on Celebrity Big Brother.

The boxer nominated Kellie - the boxing promoter formerly known as Frank - for eviction, saying he felt a "little uncomfortable" living with her.

Not long before entering the house, Kellie announced she was living as a woman after undergoing hormone therapy.

Previously best known for helping to guide Lennox Lewis to a world title, she also spoke openly about how she spent many years feeling trapped in the wrong body.

In Thursday's episode, Audley was given a warning about his reasons for nominating Kellie.

In the diary room, he was told: "Big Brother suggests this could be seen as offensive language."

Explaining what he had meant, the boxer said: "I've known Kellie as Frank for 20 to 30 years."

He said the change was a "shock" to both himself and most other people in the boxing fraternity, adding: " I think anyone would be crazy to suggest that you just switch and make the adjustment, it's going to take time."

Kellie spoke to Big Brother about Audley and said his reasons were stupid, adding: "I actually feel cheated."

She said: "I'm not expecting everyone to accept me and I understand it's going to take time."

Kellie told Audley to "p*** off" at one point when he was attempting to explain his reasons for nominating her.

The housemates facing eviction after the face-to-face nominations are everyone with a nomination - Gary Busey, Angelique ''Frenchy'' Morgan, Leslie Jordan, Stephanie Pratt, Audley, Kellie and George Gilbey.

White Dee, who shot to notoriety on Benefits Street, said of the nomination process: "I think it was a bit too brutal for my liking."

Former Made In Chelsea star Stephanie, whose nominations did not count as she broke the rules by discussing nominations, told Gary he was a "disgusting human being" who is "full of s***".

Ricci Guarnaccio told Frenchy he thought she had a "screw loose" as well as being "fake".

Gary was slammed as "incredibly rude" by Edele Lynch.
