Herefordshire band Little Big Stuff, who got together over 33 years ago, are reforming to play at the Nozstock Festival this summer.

A chance meeting between Nozstock's founder Pete Nosworthy and Clive James, the guitarist in Little Big Stuff, led to the band being offered the chance to play on the main stage at Nozstock on the same bill as The Happy Mondays. Pete, who was a keen follower of the band in the 1980s, describes them as "the best band that never made it".

Little Big Stuff were a popular five piece rock and pop group during the mid 1980s with a strong local following. They were featured in the Hereford Times in the summer of 1984 and went on to play at major national venues including the legendary Marquee Club in London, attracting major record company interest. They last played together publicly in 1986.

Four of the five original members are thrilled to be together again. Paul Kingston (songwriter and lead vocalist) said: "We're really excited about presenting a great show at Nozstock after our short 31-year break!" With Clive on guitar, the rest of the original band members are Paula Daniels-Symonds (lead vocal) and Paul Bayliss (bass guitar). Dave Rone will step in for Peter Turtle, the original drummer, who will be unavailable due to prior commitments. The reunion has inspired Paul Kingston to launch his new project, The Wilbur and Daddy Show, after his performance at Nozstock.

A selection of their original music can be heard on their Facebook site and YouTube. Little Big Stuff will be playing on the Orchard Stage at Nozstock during the afternoon of Sunday, July 23. For the full Nozstock line-up go to Nozstock.com
