Tenbury Music Festival returns on Saturday, June 17 to The Burgage recreation ground, once again attracting a host of talented musicians who are helping raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust, which last year received a donation of £3,000 from the festival.

The fabulous Mike Sanchez and His Band headlines this year, with exciting young local talents Arcadia Roots and Abi K & the Roadsters, Sticky Wicket and Friends, Abraxas, Alternative Dubstep Orchestra, The Roustabouts and the Stone Mountain Sinners (which includes Sarah Warren).

Then, there is the acoustic stage where there will be an eclectic mix of fresh new talent alongside one or two old hands. Food is being provided by some of the quality stallholders that came last year and, in addition to the beer tent and coffee stall, there will also be a cocktail bar.

Camping next to the festival and B&Bs can be booked online or via Tenbury tourist Information centre.

The Festival will also be running the Grapevine project to help support and develop local young musicians, with workshops held in a dedicated marquee where they can perform and meet other musicians and professionals from the music industry. Visit the website at tenburymusicfestival.co.uk for details of auditions on Saturday, June 3.

This year’s main sponsors are:. Orchard Valley Foods, Tesco and Worcestershire Ambassadors.

The festival will once again be supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust which is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young people, aged between 13 and 24, with cancer.
