With just two weeks to go before the 30th Hay Festival begins, an action-packed late night music line-up has been announced, including headliners for the new club venue, The Sound of the Baskervilles, at Clyro Court, where the opening night party on Friday, May 26, sees Norman Jay MBE headlining with his disco-fuelled funky house set.

Local stars SuperSonicDisco take centre stage at the venue on Saturday, May 27, followed by DJ Yoda and a hip hop flavour on the Sunday, and BBC 6 Music's funk and soul presenter DJ Craig Charles will close the opening weekend with a floor-filling dance set.

The second weekend brings Fitty Gomash to lead the festival's ceilidh night on Thursday, June 1, John Grant and DJ Chris Munton offer a night of electronica, synthpop, house and disco on Friday and show stoppers Swing Patrol will deliver a closing night set on Saturday, June 3.

Main site music action sees performances from Will Young and the Jazz Quintet, Amy Macdonald, James Rhodes, Kobo Town, folk trio Faustus and Fat Freddy's Drop. George Monbiot and Ewan McLennan debut their new collaboration, Amanda Palmer and Edward Ka-Spel offer and intimate concert performance and Malian/French singer songwriter superstar Inna Modja touches down in Hay for her only UK gig this spring.

Renowned pianist Joanna MacGregor plays Bach while Children's Laureate Chris Riddell accompanies with live drawings' folk, soul and jazz fusion group Baby Queens perform with support from Kizzy Crawford.

At St Mary's Church, BBC Radio 3 returns with their Lunchtime Rectials series, organist and composer Father Richard Williams plays The Phantom of the Opera and Natalie Clein and Louise Clein pair up for an evening of solo cello and words.
