KNIGHTON Community Centre will be filled with irresistible dance music on Saturday, May as the centre hosts a show by the UK's top purveyors of authentic Congolese soukous and rumba music, Kasai Masai.

Based in London, Kasai Masai take the traditional sound of the equatorial African village and give it a distinctive urban edge. The band’s style is a high energy take on rumba and soukous, music styles that pack dance floors throughout Africa and is impossible to stay still to. Band leader, singer and percussionist Nickens Nkoso has worked with some of the greatest names in modern African music, including Kanda Bongo Man and the late Papa Wemba, and the band has thrilled thousands at festivals around the world, including WOMAD festivals in the UK and Australia.
