WORLD-renowned masters of folk, Celtic Fiddle Festival, come to Ludlow Assembly Rooms tonight as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations.

The band’s line up stars founding member Kevin Burke, a giant of Irish music who is considered one of the finest living Irish fiddlers. He will be joined by the popular Christian Lemaitre of Breton folk outfit, Kornog, as well as the sensational André Brunet (De Temps Antan) and acclaimed guitarist Nicolas Quemener. The quartet brilliantly combine their talents, musical traditions, and spontaneous humor for an evening of dazzling energy and subtle grace.

The innovative group have a special ability to highlight the unique qualities of the distinct traditions of Arcadian, Breton and Irish folk music, while showing the strength and power that can be generated together.
