LOCAL musician Bren Haze has just released his second album following the incredible success of his debut album in 2014. Bren is building a large local following as well as gaining fans across the UK and Europe and he will be playing songs from the new album, Step Out of the Haze, on Saturday when he performs his full set at The Marches in Ludlow.

Bren is a singer/songwriter and guitarist who plays a unique blend of original acoustic songs with pure rock/guitar solos, singing and performing live using two guitars (acoustic and electric) for every track.

In 2011 Bren took a break from his music career as a lead guitarist/songwriter, and in 2012 went to live in Austria. In May, the following year he returned to the UK and moved into a converted medieval barn on the Welsh Borders where he picked up his guitars again

Bren says: “I am so excited about the new album, it is something very special. It is hard to believe that I have so many followers and we have not hit the road yet. I can't wait to play these new songs live at The Marches."

Following the success of his first album, Bren has been BBC Artist of the Week twice, had BBC Introducing Track of the Week and much national and BBC radio play and interviews. Last year Bren reached the semi finals of the Open Mic UK competition at the NEC Birmingham and supported Mick Ralphs of Mott the Hoople at The Jailhouse in December last year.

Bren Haze will be at The Marches in Ludlow on Saturday at 8.30pm.
