LEDBURY Amateur Dramatic Society will be on stage at The Market Theatre from Thursday, April 23 to Saturday, April 25 in Tartuffe, the classic comedy by Moliere.

A hilarious and irreverent whirlwind of lies, religious hypocrisy and family feuds. When the beguiling Tartuffe is welcomed and integrated into the family home of the wealthy Orgon and his mother Madame Pernelle he is promised the hand of Orgon’s daughter in marriage but the rest of Orgon’s family have grave doubts – is there more to Tartuffe than meets the eye?

This LADS production uses a new modern language translation and adaptation by the director David Pollard.
