LAST month, the senior section of The Appletree Organisation’s Youth Theatre performed Washington Irving’s spooky classic The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, with performances well supported by friends, family and local residents.
Melanie Davies, project manager for the Appletree Organisation said: “Under the guidance of our Youth Theatre leader Lisa Morris the performance of Sleepy Hollow was way above our expectations. The young people had only been working on the play for just over a term but the audience was treated to fabulous performances from the entire company."
The Youth Theatre has two groups, one for primary aged children and one for secondary aged students, meeting once a week on a Monday. There are currently a small number of places available.
