IN the macabre tradition of the BBC's classic 1970s programme, Ghost Stories for Christmas is a theatre show featuring new adaptations of classic spine-chillers. An evening of vengeful revenants, restless spirits and malevolent ghouls is guaranteed for those brave enough to join us!

A Ghost Story for Christmas was a strand of annual British short television films originally broadcast on BBC One between 1971 and 1978, and revived in 2005 on BBC Four, the first five of which were adaptations of ghost stories by M. R. James, the sixth based on a short story by Charles Dickens, and the two final instalments original screenplays by Clive Exton and John Bowen respectively.

Ghost Stories for Christmas is at The Regal Tenbury on Saturday, all tickets now half price. To book, call the box office on 01584 811442 or visit regaltenbury.co.uk
