A HEREFORDSHIRE restaurant has appointed a new head chef.
Dan Wall (pictured) has joined the Mill Race in Walford, near Ross-on-Wye, after working in Brighton, London and Hereford's Stewing Pot.
He is introducing special nights on the first Monday of every month, when he will cook dishes from around the world, using local ingredients where possible. "We are dedicated to using British produce wherever possible and strive to ensure locally grown and reared produce dominates our menu," said Mr Wall.
Mr Wall joins consultant chef Derrin Westcote, who has been involved with the Mill Race since it opened in 2005.
