TWO beautiful show homes have opened to the public at Barratt Homes West Midlands' new development, Bishop Fields, on Hampton Dene Road on the outskirts of Hereford.

The show homes, plots two and three, allow potential homebuyers to picture what it would be like to live at the popular site, which is a new community of 110 homes on the borders of the picturesque Herefordshire countryside.

Plot 2 is a Cambridge home style, with four double bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom, a kitchen with utility room and breakfast area, a spacious lounge and a study, plus a good sized, south-facing garden, a double detached garage and a double parking space.

Plot 3 is a Lincoln home style, and is also a detached four bedroom home, with a dual aspect lounge, large kitchen, dining room and a single garage plus a tandem parking space.

The Cambridge has already been snapped up, but the Lincoln show home is still available to buy, and can also be bought using Barratt Homes' Sale and Leaseback scheme, which can turn a show home into a sound investment with a 6% yield.

With Sale and Leaseback, the homebuilder rents the house from the buyer for a minimum of 12 months, giving purchasers peace of mind that their new property will be taken care of.

The Lincoln show home is priced at £364,950, providing an investor with a rental return of £21,897 over a year, or £1,825 of monthly income from Barratt Homes.

Graydon Worthing, sales director at Barratt Homes West Midlands, said: "The Cambridge and the Lincoln are both fantastic homes, and have been dressed by professional designers to demonstrate to homebuyers how best to utilise space and incorporate current styles.

"We would encourage anyone interested in visiting either show home to visit Bishop Fields and speak to our friendly sales advisers, who would be happy to give a tour of the properties and talk through the various schemes available to buy a new home, including the government's Help To Buy and our very own Sale and Leaseback scheme."

Bishop Fields is a community of two, three and four bedroom homes located between the River Wye and the river Lugg. The development is close enough to the idyllic Herefordshire countryside to enjoy rural walks, yet also within easy reach of Hereford and its historic city centre, and is also near a great selection of schools and handy transport links.
