Despite the clear signs advising owners of their duties on exercising dogs while on Palmers Meadow it is apparent that a small minority continually abuse the situation allowing fouling even on the sports pitches. It also appears the doggy waste bags are thrown at will in the field and not in the container provided. Visiting the matches, and speaking to people connected with the marking of pitches, it appears some dog owners do not think they should even clear up the droppings when asked politely. I am quite sure they know of the dangers and would not wish their children or grandchildren infected whilst participating in playing sports or games on Palmers Meadow.
