ELGAR John. Retired Commander RN, formerly of Little Hereford, died in Abergavenny Hospital on November 18th, 2014. Aged 90 years. Beloved husband of Rosemary and a much loved father of Stephen, Jane and Catherine, grandfather to Rhian, Joe and Ted. He will also be sadly missed by all his Relatives and Friends. The Funeral will take place on Friday, December 5th at 1 p.m. at St Mary Magdalene Church, Little Hereford where he was a Church Warden for many years, followed by Burial in the Churchyard. Family flowers, with donations gratefully received in memory of John for St Mary Magdalene Church Fund. Enquiries to A.H.
