ON Sunday, from 10am to 3pm, Aardvark Books in Brampton Bryan will be hosting their popular Christmas Fair, which also supports Herefordshire charity, The Teddy Trust.

This year’s event again features the Dutch Lewis trio including Dane Kranenbourg, and Dutch will be playing and singing selections from his songbook of jazz and popular classics. Dutch, who has played with some of the greats including The Duke Ellington and Quincy Jones Orchestras, will be returning to Aardvark for the third year running.

"I always enjoy playing at Aardvark, as the audience always seem in the mood to enjoy themselves," says Dutch, "and they keep me on my toes with some fairly obscure requests."

Amongst the stalls will be Sarah Rogers with her locally made chocolates, South Shropshire Riding for the Disabled, Jade from Out and About Poultry who will be taking orders for free range turkeys, and Dawn Howe (who bakes for the Aardvark Café) with her homemade Christmas cakes.

Complimentary glasses of mulled wine will be available throughout the day.

Entry and parking in the next door field are free, Aardvark Books & Café is open 10am to 4pm on Sunday. For more information please call 01547 530744 or visit www.aardvark-books.com
