EXPANSION by a Ludlow motor dealer has left an empty showroom.

The 11,507 square foot property, which occupies a 0.7 of an acre site on Parys Road, Ludlow Business Park, is the former home of motor dealership Shukers, which has expanded into a new purpose-built premises 200 yards away.

Ludlow Business Park is just off the main A49 trunk and about half a mile east of Ludlow town centre.

Vernon Hogg, managing director of Shukers, said the property had provided a very successful base for Shukers in Ludlow for more than 20 years and possessed great potential to be adapted for other business purposes, subject to planning consent.

James Evans, manager of Halls Commercial’s Shrewsbury office, anticipates keen interest in the high quality car dealership property, which he says is suitable for a variety of alternative uses, subject to planning consent.

“Ludlow is a very sought after location as it has a reputation for being one of the best towns in England in which to live because of its historical architecture, traditional food markets, independent retailers and fine dining restaurants,” he said.
