HUNDREDS of pounds were raised at the annual Brampton Bryan scarecrow day last weekend.
The tiny village was packed with visitors who strolled around having a look at the many scarecrows dressed up as characters from books.
On the village field there was lots do and see including, lunches, raffle, stalls, vintage cars and an organ, Leintwardine fire engine, games and activities and the very popular fun dog show.
The church was decorated with a beautiful assortment of arrangements and organ music was played throughout the afternoon.
There was also castle tours when members of the Harley family told visitors all about the history of Brampton Bryan Castle.
