A TEAM of judges from Ludlow in Bloom have been running their eyes over the town’s gardens.
They were scouring the gardens and businesses of Ludlow to judge the best floral displays in a number of categories.
Local judges Rosemary Moseley and Gill Craven were joined by John Gittins from Wrexham, former director of parks and grounds for Welsh Water, and Mel ab Owain, from the Green Flag Award.
"I'd just like to thank all 41 entries to the competition and urge more gardeners to enter next summer,” said Vivienne Parry, chair of the judges.
“It’s the enthusiasm and care of so many residents and business people with their gardens and floral displays that help make our town so beautiful."
There are seven categories: best commercial frontage, best residential frontage, best container display, best pub garden, best street, best front garden and best back garden.
