LIBBY Bytheway, a fifteen-year-old student from Ludlow School, organised a fun day in the last week of term to raise money and awareness for the charity Alopecia UK.
Students and staff got involved by wearing wigs, funny hats and blue clothes. Blue is the colour of the logo used by Alopecia Awareness UK.
Students and staff baked and sold cakes and took part in a three-legged race around the school field.
“I wanted to do something positive for the charity, because I know how tough it is to lose your hair. I have been losing my hair for three years now and I have learned to live with it,” said Libby.
So far, Libby has raised £687 and her target amount is £1000. Any donations can be made to www. Just Giving Libby's Alopecia UK fund raising events
