A SOUTH Shropshire theatre company has brought 'stories from the street' to Ludlow.

The project by Pentabus saw an audio adventure coming to the streets of the town as part of the Ludlow Fringe Festival.

This included stories from places dripping in history, to quieter, more personal spaces, to offer a unique theatrical experience.

Those taking part were armed with a set of headphones and a map of the town. As they visited the places on the map they could hear a short place written especially for the location.

Each short place had been written by a young writer who selected the locations and wrote the pieces inspired by it.

The locations included St Laurence's Church, The Feathers, Raven Lane, and The Assembly Rooms.

The project runs until July 6 and is based in Castle Square.
